Today (7 May 2015), Mr. Plodprasob Suraswadi, Chairman of the Special Committee on Studying the Improvement of Construction Standards, Safety Standards, Remedies for Affected Persons, and Systematic Development of the Potential of the Construction Contractor Industry, the House of Representatives summoned the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, the Department of Public Works and Town & Country Planning, the Ministry of Interior, and the Office of the Auditor General (OAG) to summarize the cause of the OAG building collapse. However, the OAG Governor did not come to provide information in person and assigned Mr. Suttipong Boonnil, the OAG Deputy Governor, to provide information instead.
